Peru national teamThe U18 peruvian national team was formed with the 2012 U13 National Championship that counted with the participation of 600 girls, their preparation of two years took them in 2014 to win the U16 South American Championship, they repeated the first place of the podium in 2015 and won silver at the 2016 U18 South American Championship. In early 2017, the team lead for the second consecutive year by coach Marco Queiroga, made a successful tour of Slovenia, Turkey, Spain and France; and in the month of July its main figures participated in the U20 World Championship in Veracruz, Mexico.All selected minors have participated in the National Superior Volleyball League (LNSV) Senior Category 2016-2017 with their respective clubs. The athletes of the U18 selection have a average age 16 and of height 1.82m.Peru seeks to reach its first medal in a U18 World Championship, its best results were the fourth place in 1993 and more recently in 2013 where they equaled the campaign of 93 finishing in fourth place.
